Brent Harrow and Hillingdon LIFT is in partnership with a number of various organisations such as the local authorities and Health Trusts.
PCTs / Boroughs / Hospitals
Primary Care Trusts and Local Authorities are responsible for providing health and social care in Brent Harrow and Hillingdon. Together they have ambitious plans to make significant improvements in both health and social care for local people.
The key health organisations are Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon Primary Care Trusts (all three PCTs are co-terminus with their relevant London Boroughs). All three Local Authorities are supportive of the LIFT project and see the development of appropriately located and resourced primary care facilities as an integral part of all three boroughs' communities and regeneration strategies.
The development of LIFT will complement hospital developments currently underway. The joint work will allow a review of the whole health economy resulting in services being provided in the appropriate location for the benefit of the patient.
