Northwood Primary Care Centre
Northwood Primary Care Centre
Background
Currently providing a range of primary and community health services, Northwood Health Centre was built in the early 1970's. It houses 5 GP practices, community nursing and community dentistry for a serving population of just over 20,000.
Having outgrown the building, current services and the existing practices are not able to provide the standard of care they wish due to cramped conditions.
Vision
The PCT and the GP's at the Health Centre are working together to redevelop the site in order to be able to deliver a higher and better standard of care they wish.
By providing these services locally, patients will not always need to go to Hillingdon Hospital for elements of the care they currently receive.
